Travertine is marble’s younger twin brother. It is a slightly softer version of the regular white, grey or brown highly-polished marble that many of us are used to seeing. Travertine is specifically known for its mixture of low-key semi-gloss light browns, soft greys and off-whites.
These more earthy tones are still very desirable and sought after today, but you must keep up the surface so that it doesn’t get run down. Travertine like all types of “limestone” is sensitive to many household chemicals and of course abrasion.
You will be quite happy with this stone for many years when armed with a little knowledge and occasional professional maintenance that I can give you.

There is nothing like the natural elegance of pure, polished marble. It has been the choice of designers for decades, but it is too often misunderstood.
Marble, like all forms of travertine and limestone is sensitive to nearly everything you use to clean your house and your body with. People only get in trouble when they don’t know what they’re dealing with under their feet and around their sinks and makeup.
We will take away the mystery of owning and maintaining this stone. Call or email today and I will advise and then restore and bring back your stone into something you can be proud of.

Quartz counters have come into their own over the last 15-20 years. Where granite used to be the go-to surface for the finest homes - it is now natural/synthetic quartz compounds that have the lion’s share of the solid surface countertop market.
As a result of this, many of these kitchen counters and pieces of furniture are now coming due or are now past-due for some much needed maintenance.
We will polish, restore and bring your quartz back to life with our exclusive on-site restoration services.
